Early Years Outdoor Based Apprentice

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to undertake a new apprenticeship which strongly aligns with our organisational values and our passion around the benefits of children being outdoors.

The fully accredited level 3 Apprenticeship is designed to develop your workplace skills and knowledge with a strong focus on outdoor learning.

Day to day duties:

To provide opportunities for children to learn through play experience in line with the EYFS and utilising the outdoors as much as possible

To help maintain the safety, security and wellbeing of the children in our care.

To work positively as part of our team, contributing ideas and listening to feedback to guide development of our practice.

Skills Required:

Essential:

A belief in the value and potential of children and young people as individuals and as a group. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to learn and accept leadership and mentoring.

Desirable:

A flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to new challenges. Good attendance and punctuality record. A solution focused approach.

Qualifications required:

L2 GCSE Maths and English - Grade 4 or C and above.

Personal Qualities:

Flexible and self motivated, team player. Adaptable to change, embrace and welcome change.

Annual Wage:

14,959.12 (to be reviewed in April 2026)

Working hours:

38 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Future Opportunities:

Opportunities available for CPD and staff progression through the organisation.

Applicants will need their own transport.
