About Us

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate

Early Years Practitioner

to join our lovely nursery in

Reading, Berkshire, RG30!

We are a long standing private setting established in Reading.

Our Nursery has a large, enclosed natural garden, with separate baby area. We are also lucky to have the community garden right at our doorstep. We are looking for someone who is a team player and reliable.

Someone who is passionate about making a difference in a child's lives... Someone who enjoys arts and crafts and singing nursery rhymes 10hrs a day nonstop! Someone who sometimes randomly remembers a dinosaur fact in their sleep because they have been playing with dinosaurs all day...

- Salary: Up to 28,080pa / 13.00 - 13.50 per hour

(Depending on experience/qualifications/age)

Days/Hours: (Please see below)

40 hours, 4 or 5 Days (4 ten hour days or 5 eight hour days) Shifts between 8am-6pm
*Please note we cannot accommodate school hours or term time

Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities

Supporting the Room leader in managing the room Following routines Completing risk assessments Planning activities for children Attending any training needs , staff meetings. Complete planning, observations and next steps Complete online learning journals, tracking documents, progress summaries and 2-year checks Being a key person

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)

Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role

Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding Strong people skills Good time management skills Excellent organisational skills Be eligible to work in the UK
