We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a genuine love for working with young children. This role requires patience and the ability to manage classroom dynamics, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our nursery setting. Please note, this is an apprenticeship position, you will be enrolled onto The Early Years Level 2 or 3 Course (dependant on experience) and receive the qualification, upon completion.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children aged 0-5 years.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure that all children are engaged and participating.
Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, including outdoor activities and community engagement.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and support each other's professional development.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes.
Requirements
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
