Position Overview:

Join our journey at My Playroom Nursery! We are seeking a passionate and creative Early Years Practitioner for our baby room, which caters to children under 2 years of age. If you are enthusiastic about nurturing the youngest minds and are eager to be a part of a pioneering team, we would love to meet you!

Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM (4 days a week, Fridays off)

Flexibility:

Key Responsibilities:

Child Development:

Support the physical, emotional, social, and educational development of children.

Educational Activities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Observation and Assessment:

Monitor children's progress and complete assessments, ensuring individual needs are met.

Parental Communication:

Keep parents informed about their child's development and daily activities.

Team Collaboration:

Work cooperatively within the nursery team to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications:

Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience in an early years setting.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the EYFS and its application.

Communication:

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
