Early Years Practitioner - fixed term until 29/10/2027


Frogston Primary School


Salary: 29,173 - 33,287 (pro-rata for sessional)


Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional


This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will share our passion for ensuring the highest possible quality of learning for our young children.

The successful candidate will be included in Primary 1 classroom rotation and play a key role in Primary 1 transition.




Frogston Primary School is a non-denominational school which was established in August 2020. The school is part of the

Gracemount

High School cluster, along with

Gracemount

Primary School. Our Early Years setting has capacity for 80 pupils and offers a mix of term time and full year places for

3-5 year olds

and terrific 2s. The setting is open 8-6 daily.



The person must hold an HNC/SVQ3 in a relevant Childhood Practice Award and meet SSSC requirements without conditions.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
