LEVEL 3 - Before/Afterschool/Holiday Club - Playworker
22.5 hours per week covering Breakfast and After School and our Holiday Club.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging activities to support and facilitate the play process and through creative planning and support should allow children to explore their environment, test boundaries and learn about themselves and the world around them.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Manage daily activities, ensuring that children are engaged in meaningful play and learning experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of care and education within the setting.
Drive initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and well-being among children.
Foster positive relationships with parents to support safeguarding children.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with young children is highly desirable but training will be given if you have just gained your Level 3.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to drive initiatives independently.
