Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing young children in a safe and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for implementing engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development while ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. This position requires strong communication skills, a love for working with children, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

Duties

Create and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play. Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and express themselves. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring safety and adherence to health regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all children. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Drive initiatives that support early childhood education best practices.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or early years education, ideally within a nursery setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse group of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential.
