We are currently taking applications for an Early Years Practitioner for our growing team.

The position is Part-Time to Full-time consisting of at least 3 days a week with the opportunity to take on more shifts up to 5 days a week.

We are looking for an imaginative and creative practitioner who shares an enthusiasm for delivering play-based, memorable, and educational outdoor experiences for children, no matter the weather! In fact, getting muddy is part of the job!

Successful candidate would be expected to:

-Contribute as part of a team to the provision of a quality early learning and childcare service for children aged 2-5 years and their families.

-Work to the principles of the national care standards for early education and childcare and abide by the Code of Practice for Social Service Workers.

-Promote and develop positive working relationships with parents, children and team members. Ensuring communication is clear and concise.

-Keep up to date with latest practice, adhering to policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

-To be reliable, hardworking, honest, with a good sense of humour ensuring a delivery of high quality of care and learning.

-To be confident using digital technology to ensure all relevant information is uploaded, monitored and evaluated.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Successful candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.

Required qualification: HNC or equivalent

Wage starting at 12.60 per hour
