Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for young children.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities to support children's learning and development
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn
- Manage the day-to-day care routines of young children
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills in guiding and supporting other staff members
Skills
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
- L3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Strong English language skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage and organise daily activities effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated leadership qualities to inspire and guide team members
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: 12.50 per hour
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Nursery: 1 year (required)
Work Location: In person
