We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and flexible

Temporary Nursery Practitioner

to join our nursery team and support with staff absence cover.

Hours of Work

Fridays are essential:

9:00am - 3:30pm (6.5 hours)

Additional sessions available Monday-Thursday

This role is ideal for a practitioner seeking flexible temporary work with a regular Friday commitment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing Maintain a

safe, secure, and inclusive environment

Observe, assess, and support children's individual needs Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet statutory staffing and ratio requirements Uphold the nursery's

safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare policies

at all times

Requirements

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Reliability, flexibility, and a professional approach

Availability to work every Friday

An enhanced DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one)
