As an integral part of New Life Church, we are a welcoming and inclusive Christian nursery community serving children aged 2-4. Our ethos is rooted in kindness, respect and compassion. We work closely with families and professionals to support a high number of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Role Summary

The Rainbow Room Lead is responsible for day-to-day leadership of our 2-3 year olds' room, ensuring a nurturing, safe and developmentally appropriate environment. The role includes leading a small team, overseeing routines, supporting SEN practice, and fostering strong communication with families.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the daily operation of the Rainbow Room Ensure high-quality safeguarding and supervision Deliver an inclusive, play-based curriculum following the EYFS Support children with a wide range of SEN needs Model best practice and guide practitioners Maintain excellent communication with parents Embed Christian values, including daily prayers and songs

Essential Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 4/5/Teacher desirable) Experience working with 2-3 year olds Strong safeguarding knowledge and confidence Experience supporting SEN Calm, reflective practice and strong organisational skills Ability to lead and support a small team Supportive of Christian ethos and values

Pay: From 12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 31.5 per week
