Daisybank Nursery is a well-established and well-respected family run nursery that takes all the children and families into their hearts, and where our long serving and highly qualified team of staff are truly valued and respected. Daisybank Nursery is a home from home nursery, and with two settings, one in Bramhall and one in Bollington they both share the same values and ethos, these being to provide a nurturing and positive environment, that inspires the love for learning and the confidence in children to explore and be curious about the world around them. By also adopting the concept of a 'Forest School', the children are given learning experiences which current research supports as being the most beneficial to child development and using the nursery minibus we embrace the opportunities that exist from the area around us. Responsibilities
Leading and managing a nursery room team, ensuring a high standard of care and education is always provided
Developing a trusting and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents / carers
Creating a fun and inclusive learning environment which challenges and engages all children
Possessing a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage o Having strong communication skills to enable effective and honest communication with parents / carers, providing them with regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
Mentoring and supporting all staff and fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Following set procedures to keep children and the environment safe.
To achieve this our requirements are
The successful candidate will have proven experience in childcare or Early Childhood Education
A Level 3 minimum in Early Years
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The successful applicant must be approachable, engaging and compassionate.
A commitment to their own continued professional development, keeping up with new ideas and practices.
A true passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy and understanding of their developmental need
