Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for nurturing and developing young minds. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, fostering their growth through play-based learning and structured activities.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Provide high-quality childcare in a nursery setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys. Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear expectations and providing positive reinforcement. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for development. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment that reflects the needs of all children. Drive initiatives that enhance the educational experience, encouraging creativity and exploration among children.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years environment is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach in a busy environment. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development through play-based learning.
