The Role
As
Room Leader in our Baby Room
, you'll take responsibility for the daily running of your the room, ensuring a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for the children. You will lead a small team of practitioners, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
Passionately, lead and support a team of early years practitioners
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Monitor and evaluate children's progress, maintaining accurate records
Support the Nursery Manager in maintaining high standards of practice
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent)
At least 2 years' experience working in an early years setting
Previous supervisory or team leader experience is required
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach
