Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to join our dynamic childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. They will have a responsibility for helping to create and lead a realistic, fun and challenging curriculum. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in early childhood education to make a positive impact on children's early learning and development.

Duties

Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being. Foster a caring environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and any concerns. Organise activities that promote inclusivity, creativity, and physical development. Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and well-organised at all times. Contribute to ongoing staff training programmes to enhance professional skills. Assist with administrative tasks related to nursery operations as required.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting, this can include placements for newly qualified Teachers. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
