Your Role: What will you be doing?




As a

Pre-School Room Leader / Early Years Teacher

at Daisy Fays, you'll play a pivotal role in encouraging confident, independent learners ready for their next big adventure. Your responsibilities will include:


Leading and mentoring

your team to deliver outstanding early education and care for our pre-school children.

Designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities

that inspire curiosity and foster individual development.

Making accurate and effective assessments to understand each child's unique needs

, supporting their growth and celebrating their milestones.

Creating an inclusive, stimulating environment

, indoors and outdoors, where exploration and creativity thrive.

Developing strong, trust-based partnerships

with parents, carers, and professionals to support the holistic needs of every child.

Promoting and ensuring child welfare, safeguarding, and health and safety.

Working collaboratively with your team

to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment where children, staff, and families flourish.

Requirements: What are we looking for?




We're looking for an inspiring, passionate individual who's ready to help children shine during the final stages of their early years' development. You'll need:


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

,

Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)

,

Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)

, or a

full and relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification.

We will also consider applicants holding a minimum

Level 3 qualification

, who are willing to progress in their professional development.

Previous experience

in an Early Years setting, with a proven track record of supporting children's growth and leading a team. A deep understanding of the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

and its practical implementation. Strong knowledge of

Ofsted standards

hild protection

, e

arly years legislation

, and h

ealth and safety.

Exceptional communication skills

to build trusting, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

A passion for creating engaging, fun learning experiences

that spark a lifelong love of learning in every child. An adaptable and

, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve excellence.

Please note, due to our sector, all roles are subject to an

Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification. All personnel will be required to subscribe to the DBS Update service once the DBS has been applied for.
