We are looking for an
Early Years Teaching Assistant
to take up post at the start of
January 2026
. The successful candidates will work with EYFS children. Knowledge and experience in working within the Early Years Foundation Stage in schools would be advantageous.
The job role will include:Support Teaching and Learning
: Assist the teacher in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons, including monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback.
Pupil Support
: Provide tailored support to pupils, especially those with special needs, ensuring safety, inclusion, and engagement in learning activities.
High-Quality Interactions
: Promote meaningful, high-quality interactions with pupils to support communication, development, and learning.
Behaviour and Wellbeing
: Promote positive behaviour, independence, and self-esteem; help implement behaviour and care plans.
Environment, Resources, and ICT
: Prepare and maintain a purposeful learning environment, manage resources, and support the use of ICT.
Communication and Professionalism
: Engage in professional conversations with parents/carers, contribute to reports and meetings, and support school trips and training.
