We have the perfect opportunity for you, as our publishing client is looking for an eBooks Production Controller for their Production team, working on a prestigious list that spans diverse genres and subjects across Academic and Professional titles.

Reporting to the Complex eBooks and Accessibility Manager, you\'ll enjoy the independence to oversee the production of a wide array of complex, enhanced, and illustrated eBooks across an extensive portfolio. You will also play an important role in supporting the company\'s progression to an accessible workflow.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in digital book publishing, with good knowledge of current eBook formats.
  • A deep understanding of eBook production life cycle, encompassing both fixed layout and reflowable formats
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • A sharp eye for detail, including strong proof-reading skills.
We\'re seeking a creative thinker and proactive problem solver, with a strong passion for eBook and web publishing. You\'ll thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team. If you love tackling diverse projects, are dedicated to user-oriented design, digital accessibility, and can manage multiple deadlines with ease, you would be a great fit for this role.
