The Role:
We are a forward-thinking organisation committed to sustainable urban logistics and cleaner streets. Based in the heart of London, we are launching a new e-cargo bike operation to support small-scale kerbside waste bag collections and light sack deliveries across the city. Join us in making London greener, healthier, and more efficient.
As an E-Cargo Bike Rider, you will be responsible for collecting waste sacks from designated kerbside locations and transporting them to a central consolidation point. You will operate a company-provided electric cargo bike and use compaction and weighing equipment to process collected waste. The role includes performance targets focused on efficiency and speed of collection, contributing to our commitment to high service standards and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Operate an electric cargo bike safely and efficiently across London streets
Collect waste sacks from commercial kerbsides
Transport collected sacks to a designated consolidation point
Operate compaction and weighing equipment at the consolidation site
Use a mobile app to manage routes and delivery schedules
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the cargo bike
Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collection speed and operational efficiency
Provide reliable customer service and act as a brand ambassador
Following health and safety procedures at all times
About you:
Physically capable and comfortable cycling in urban environments
Experience riding in London traffic preferred
Right to work in the UK
Proficient in English
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
