Summary: The role of the ECO Compliance Officer is accountable and responsible for achieving submission KPIs and deadlines in line with relevant regulations working with key partners to ensure quality and compliant submissions ,Ensuring regulatory documentation and evidence is collated in a timely manner
Saltire Facilities Management is a well-established and successful company located in the Lanarkshire area, seeking an ECO Compliance Officer to become part of their team.
The company specialises in implementing carbon reduction and energy efficiency initiatives for social housing.
We provide various energy-saving solutions under the ECO4 scheme, including Air Source Heat Pumps, Boilers, Solar PV & Batteries, and Insulation, which are installed in customers' homes. The installations are conducted in-house, adhering to strict quality control measures. As the Compliance Officer, your primary responsibility will be to assist the team in preparing all necessary documentation for submission to our ECO funding partner and to address any compliance-related challenges.
Additional responsibilities include:
Ensuring all ECO submissions are completely compliant and submitted to the funding partner accurately and within the designated timeframe
Communicating with internal and external teams as well as customers to help resolve any discrepancies before and after installation
Identifying any compliance submission issues that need follow-up or investigation and reporting these issues to management
Assisting in maintaining the company's compliance performance, including submission statistics and right-first-time metrics
Reviewing compliance procedures and processes, offering feedback to management for potential improvements
oEducating and supporting staff involved in ECO4 submissions on scheme rules and compliance practices
Working with partners, project teams, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant submissions
Maintaining a strong understanding of ECO4 policy changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
This role is primarily office-based, with working hours from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. There is a degree of flexibility required to meet business requirements
ECO Compliance Officer - Key Requirements
In-depth understanding of ECO4 requirements and quality standards
Experience in auditing, policy implementation, and regulatory reporting
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Confident communicator who can work independently and also part of a larger team
Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
Proactive mindset and a commitment to upholding integrity and transparency
Advanced skills in Microsoft package: excel, word, power point and adobe
