The Role
E-Commerce Assistant (Customer Service & Marketing)
In line with the continued growth of our business a new role is being created for an E-Commerce Assistant . This will be a great opportunity for a self-starter with previous customer service and marketing experience, to help us in creating the best possible experience and support for our customers here in the UK as well as the EU, US and worldwide.
This is a full-time, office based role from our Northwich based business, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all our customer enquiries from a variety of marketplaces including our own website, Amazon and Ebay stores and also our active social channels. As well as someone who can create and publish engaging product listings, with previous experience using Adobe Creative Suite an advantage.
We are looking for someone with high levels of organisation skills, who is a problem-solver and has an articulate, confident and professional approach to managing and prioritising their workload, and when dealing with customers both online and on the telephone.
We don't always do things the traditional way here, so an individual with out-of-the-box thinking, and a desire to test, improve and develop new strategies while offering the very best levels of support to our customers is the perfect match to our small but passionate existing team.
Examples of some of your duties:
Resolving inbound order, delivery or after-care support requests from customers.
Dealing with customer enquiries, assisting anyone looking for support or direction on what product to choose or how to get best use of our products and services.
Answering inbound telephone calls and enquiries.
Navigating across multiple platforms to acquire accurate information to relay to customers, partners or internal teams as required.
Accurately updating and maintaining internal systems.
Effective communication with internal teams including sales, production, sales, purchasing and management as required to ensure customer expectations are always met and excelled.
Create and design engaging product listings for our website and online marketplaces.
Help bring new products to market by developing designs for new product variants.
Skills and Qualifications
First and foremost, we are looking for the right person to gel with our current team. We believe that the person matters more than the qualifications that they hold. However, we do require a proven track record in Creative Suite design, coupled with base-level competency demonstrated either through formal education, training or experience in a similar role.
If you have a background of delighting customers in a marketing or customer service role elsewhere, and are looking for an exciting move to an ambitious business then this position is for you.
2+ years relevant design and / or customer service experience
A passion for delighting customers and prospects.
A keen eye and desire to grow and develop existing creative skills
Great communication
Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a diverse range of tasks
The ability to appraise existing systems and standards to make sure we are offering the best service possible to our customers.
