About the Role
We are seeking an
Associate Account Manager
to support our European clients in growing their eCommerce businesses, with a strong focus on Amazon. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in eCommerce account management who is eager to deepen their expertise in marketplace growth and develop into a strategic account leader.
As an Associate Account Manager, you will own and manage smaller client accounts while providing critical support to senior account managers on larger, more complex accounts. You will act as a client-facing representative, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives, contributing to growth strategies, and delivering high-quality service that strengthens long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations for smaller client accounts on Amazon, serving as the primary point of contact.
Support senior account managers with execution and delivery for larger accounts, including reporting, project tracking, and client communication.
Support the development and execution of client account plans, focusing on growth strategies within the Amazon ecosystem.
Partner with internal teams (media, content, data, retail) to help ensure client goals and deliverables are executed on time and within scope.
Develop a solid understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, growth levers, and Podean's offerings to contribute to client strategies and recommendations.
Analyse client, company, and category data to provide insights and support the development of growth opportunities.
Prepare and deliver regular account updates, performance reports, and insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
Identify opportunities to introduce or upsell relevant products and services to enhance client satisfaction and business outcomes.
Participate in client calls and internal meetings, providing updates and preparing materials as needed.
Help maintain client scope by tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and supporting expectation setting.
Contribute to team initiatives such as knowledge sharing, process documentation, and trainings.
Stay current with Amazon policies, platform updates, marketplace trends, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in eCommerce account management,
with direct Amazon account experience required.
Strong organisational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to adapt style to different audiences.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
