Jacobson Group, a leading supplier of footwear with brands including, Gola, Lotus, Ravel, Frank Wright and Dunlop are looking to recruit flexible, friendly and experienced staff to join our e-commerce operations team in Rawtenstall as Ecommerce Content Administrator.
Role Overview
This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
With a strong presence across our own and major high street retailers' websites, our team is passionate about ensuring that our products are described accurately across all platforms. As we expand, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join us as Ecommerce Content Administrator.
The Ecommerce Content Administrator role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, e-commerce environment, has superb attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and is confident working on inhouse, and third-party e-commerce web portals.
Key Responsibilities
The Ecommerce Content Administrator will be working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, under their own initiative and with third part Web Managers to:
Create accurate product data tables
Upload data tables in line with our and our customers', requirements via e-commerce web portals,
Identify any errors or issues in the data or on the web and correct them
Monitor website sales performance and analyse data to assist management to identify areas of improvement.
Ensure all websites data meets our and our customers', standards
The accuracy of our product descriptions, across our own website and those of high street and online retailers, is key.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
All round experience in Microsoft Office suite, with excellent Excel skills
Experience of data input to create spreadsheets for uploading and maintaining, website content.
Experience of uploading product data to third party portals for online web sales
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and correct issues on the website in conjunction with partners, as necessary.
Experience of and comfortable with, working with customers to correct any data errors identified
Well organized and able to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
Flexible to be able to work with external customers and adapt to new websites, systems and partners.
Ability to provide excellent customer service to both business partners and the general public
Awareness of cyber security and potential external security risks.
Good communication skills, capable of explaining in non-technical language
Must be able to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
Good written English and attention to detail.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Excel formulas would be useful.
Knowledge of Google Analytics would be helpful.
