The role:

A hybrid role with 3 days from the central London office and 2 days from home, this person joins the Clarins UK Ecommerce team. This is a 6-month Maternity cover for our Ecommerce Content Manager. Responsible for the visual and technical execution of clarins.co.uk, you work symbiotically with the Ecommerce Trade Manager and together you are responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day business. This role owns all content merchandising, technical functionality, UI and UX. This role is suitable for someone with a proven background of managerial level experience of at least 3 years. As their function is part of the Online business team, they understand commercial objectives and help on achieving them visually. They are strong communicators, have excellent organizing skills and have high attention to detail. They also demonstrate creativity and can execute ideas technically. They have a strong grasp of the digital shopping landscape, are well versed in UX, UI and are passionate about how these ultimately help in driving online business. They are proactive and are capable of multi-tasking and have a strong work ethic.

What you\'ll do: * Data and Insight:

  • Assist to achieve online sales and profit targets.
  • Monitor and analyse daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual content performance metrics to identify opportunities, propose and decide actions to maximise sales.
  • Responsible for general analysis and reporting on content and functionality performance, you will use both the CMS, Contentsquare and Google Analytics GA4 to track versus targets and historical data.
  • Content focus:
  • Key lead on website functionality updates and evolutions as well as general maintenance of the sites are updated and in line with Global and Local schedules.
  • Develop and execute a website content strategy to improve workflows and team efficiency.
  • Manage the localisation and operational execution of landing pages end-to-end (sign-off translations or copy creation, creative briefs, page creation, deployment, tracking, optimization & reporting).
  • Merge a creative mindset with the Trade Manager\'s commercial objectives, together suggesting stories for Ecom newsletters to enrich brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Share with the wider department on a need to know basis all online storytelling or related information that you receive from either Global teams and the Local Brand Marketing team, PR or other teams.
  • Personalization of the website through idea generation, execution, monitoring and performance analysis of usability tests, functionality evolutions, personlisation tests or similar optimisation with a relentless drive to improve the online experience.
  • Continuously define high quality content and adapt plans with learnings.
  • Key lead on SEO support for the Digital Acquisition Manager, ensuring all content optimisations on landing pages, products and copy is updated in alignment with the agreed recommendations.
  • General projects and management:
  • Developing key relationships to foster omni-channel thinking inside the business, leading by example in ensuring that communication flows and collaboration is always smooth.
  • Manage and develop your direct report with a goal to maximise efficiencies wherever possible. You will mindfully manage them, empower, and upskill them to be a Rockstar partner for you, setting your team up for future continued success.
  • Own the integration of new third-party service providers.
  • Development and execution of the gamification roadmap as well as reporting on results.
You are:

You have:
  • Minimum of 3 years\' experience in an Ecommerce team, managing a website CMS preferably SFCC Salesforce.
  • Proven experience in defining and shaping a product merchandising strategy.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to hit the ground running autonomously.
  • Have a basic understanding of html and website backends such as SFCC Salesforce.
  • Ability to write impactful and succinct copy.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other tracking tools to monitor website performance and KPIs.
