Job Description

Why Join Us

At WatchNation, we're proud to be one of the UK's leading independent watch retailers, offering a wide range of brands and watches to customers both online and in-store. Our family-run business has built a reputation for excellent service, expert knowledge, and a genuine passion for watches.

We're now looking for a creative, commercially minded

E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist

to help take WatchNation's online presence to the next level - growing our reach on platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond by producing engaging content that resonates with our audience.

Alongside WatchNation, we've recently launched our own microbrand, Cestrian Watches, with exciting new collections in development. While your primary focus will be expanding WatchNation's digital presence and online sales, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to Cestrian's growth as part of our long-term vision.

With new product launches, international growth plans, and a fast-paced e-commerce environment, this is a chance to join a team where your creativity and ideas can make a real impact.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join us during an exciting transition period as we migrate from WooCommerce to Shopify. You'll play a key role in shaping the new store, supporting our international expansion, creating fresh, high-performing content in-house, and helping deliver an exceptional online experience for watch lovers worldwide.

You'll work closely with our small, dynamic team on everything from product launches and marketing campaigns to trading decisions, customer experience, and brand growth--with plenty of room to make your mark.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Optimisation

Build, update, and manage product listings, SKUs, and collections for maximum accuracy and appeal. Create high-converting landing pages and maintain a smooth, customer-friendly site experience. Assist with strategy for new international markets and optimising listings for different regions. Work with developers / software / apps to improve functionality and resolve issues quickly.

Creative Content & Campaigns

Plan, design, and deliver email marketing campaigns that convert. Write engaging product descriptions, blogs, and website copy, optimised for SEO. Create and edit on-brand photography and video content in-house, showcasing products in lifestyle settings within our store. Create banners and graphics using templates to support merchandising on our site

Social Media & Brand Growth

Manage TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels, building brand personality and community engagement. Produce platform-specific content including reels, short-form videos, stories, and trend-driven posts. Work with influencers and watch enthusiasts to boost brand visibility. Engage directly with watch forums and communities to help us stand out.

Trading & Merchandising

Monitor market pricing daily to ensure products remain competitive across all key channels. Analyse sales performance, stock levels, and margins to make informed trading decisions. Manage promotional activity and implement discount strategies to drive sell-through. Identify opportunities for new product ranges or collections based on demand and market trends. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure availability of high-demand SKUs and minimise out-of-stocks.

Customer Experience

Take ownership of the full online customer journey, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand values. Provide responsive, helpful support via email and live chat where needed, turning first-time buyers into loyal customers. Collaborate with the team to improve FAQs, automated responses, and on-site content to reduce repeat queries.

Monitor website and campaign performance, reporting on results weekly and monthly. Use insights to improve strategy, marketing messaging, and on-site performance.
