What You'll Do
Design & Operate the Framework:
Craft templates, taxonomies, and SOPs for listings, ads, and reporting - then execute them to prove their power.
Drive Performance Metrics:
Own revenue, ROAS, CTR, CVR, TACOS, and profit across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and emerging platforms.
Data & Dashboards:
Harness tools like Helium 10 and Jungle Scout to build automated, decision-ready dashboards. Choose your stack - Looker Studio, Power BI, Metabase, or Databox - and set the standards.
Ads & Optimisation:
Strategies, test, and refine retail media campaigns (Amazon SP/SB/SD and beyond) with precise budgeting and iterative learning.
SEO & Listings Mastery:
Lead keyword strategies, A+ content, imagery standards, variant management, and review playbooks.
Calendar & Launches:
Orchestrate seasonal events like Prime Day and Black Friday, complete with pre- and post-mortems to build a learnings library.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure clean catalogue operations, pricing guardrails, and robust suspension/appeals processes. We play the long game - brand-safe growth only, no grey-hat tactics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Tech on feeds/ETL, Procurement on stock and logistics (FBA/FBM/3PL, hazmat rules), Finance on margins and cash cycles, and Creative on high-converting assets.
Scale the Team:
Recruit and mentor operators into the systems you've engineered, fostering a high-performing unit.
What Success Looks Like
90 Days:
Dashboards and scorecards live; catalogue optimised; quick wins on listings and ads boosting early momentum.
6 Months:
Playbooks in action; ROAS and CVR climbing; wasted spend minimised; seamless seasonal executions.
12 Months:
A repeatable launch engine across brands; a growing team under your frameworks; and you're on track for promotion to Head of Marketplace.
About You
5+ years of experience in e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or similar).
Hands-on builder who turns chaos into streamlined systems, SOPs, and dashboards.
Numerate with strong Sheets/Excel skills; bonus for Looker Studio/Power BI and familiarity with Helium 10/Jungle Scout.
Excellent written English for compelling listings and clear internal communications.
Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, composed under pressure, and eager to innovate.
Bonus points for expertise in feeds/PIMs, GS1/CE/UKCA standards, FBA/FBM/3PL logistics, or AI tools with rigorous human oversight.
Growth, L&D, and Upside
Competitive salary of 40,000-50,000 DOE + pension, with a performance bonus tied to portfolio growth, ROAS, and TACOS improvements.
Clear progression to Head of Marketplace (55,000-60,000) earned through scorecard milestones and demonstrated impact.
Annual learning budget for certifications, courses, and conferences (e.g., Amazon Ads, Google Shopping).
Tools budget to equip yourself with essentials like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or anything justifiable to enhance mastery.
Relocation support available for the right candidate; otherwise, please be able to commute to NE8.
