The purpose of this role is to oversee and drive the online sales strategy for the company. This includes managing the Shopify online stores, optimising the customer experience, analysing performance data, and coordinating digital marketing efforts to increase traffic and conversion rates.

Main duties:



Primary objective is online business development, growth and outstanding customer satisfaction through the management of our Shopify store and our online directory site. Full responsibility for DTC business development and growth. Research and understand the industry, target market to ensure accurate tone of voice, segmentation, VOC. Identify trends and competitor activity to initiate tactical plans to position the brand as a leading global expert. Develop international pages and build relationships with international providers. Responsible for fostering engagement and online brand awareness through email and content . Create, own and implement the digital branding and communications strategy to increase reach; capture leads; retain customer loyalty increasing customer lifetime value; increase ATV; increase new customer acquisition and conversion within agreed budgets. Write engaging content that reinforces the business' expert status. Ensure the site is always up to date including pricing, promotions, imagery, new introductions, videos etc. Manage the online SEO/SEM; implement and manage the remarketing/retargeting activity . Creation and implementation of the DTC roadmap and strategy. Optimisation of the performance of the website across key metrics (using internal and external resource). Report performance, analytics and insights . Responsibility for all online compliance and quality . Stock holding, order fulfilment, product sales forecasting responsibility to feed into the demand plan. Responsible for online customer service/care. Work with Manufacturing and Dispatch teams to ensure OTIF. Line and performance manage a members of the eCommerce team . Work with the wider marketing team to co-ordinate promos and campaigns and to align with Social Media activity. Hands-on in all areas, standing-in for staff holidays and training in products and systems where required. Prioritise workload to achieve agreed deadlines. Lead in the reporting and analysis of digital activity. Monitoring KPIs, actively striving to improve engagement and outreach. Responsible for the planning, sourcing and the implementation of content, scheduling digital ads.

About you:



Minimum of 5 years in a similar role with proven results. Good knowledge of Shopify. Understanding of marketing campaigns and brand strategy . Experienced in Google analytics, digital marketplaces, website creation & management, digital marketing. Excellent communication and copywriting skills (first-class grammar/spelling/proof-reading). Attention to detail. Priority & multi-task management in fast changing environment. Creative problem solver. Initiative and self-starter. Positive, can-do attitude
