The successful candidate will report directly to the Director, with a clear pathway to progress into a
Director-level leadership position
, eventually taking on full operational and strategic responsibilities.
Operations & Leadership
Oversee the
day-to-day operations
across all e-commerce functions, including sales, marketing, warehouse, customer service, and procurement.
Lead and support departmental teams, ensuring smooth workflows, accountability, and productivity.
Act as the
main point of contact
for operational queries, escalations, and issue resolution.
Monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
Develop and maintain
standard operating procedures (SOPs)
to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Ensure all orders, stock movements, and deliveries are processed accurately and on schedule.
Team Management & Growth
Manage, coach, and mentor team leaders to maintain high levels of engagement and performance.
Oversee
recruitment, onboarding, and training
for new staff across departments.
Foster a collaborative, proactive, and high-performance culture throughout the organisation.
Strategic Coordination
Work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, compliance, and finance to align operational goals.
Support the Director in developing and executing business growth strategies.
Identify and lead
process improvement initiatives
to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Produce regular
performance and operational reports
for senior management.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability
Step into any department as needed to
support or troubleshoot operational issues

Make real-time decisions to resolve day-to-day challenges.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Qualification & Skills
Strong experience in
e-commerce operations or business management
, with proven leadership experience.
Solid understanding of
e-commerce processes
such as fulfilment, marketing, inventory, and customer service.
Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
Ability to
interpret data and KPIs
to drive operational improvement.
Quick to learn, adaptable, and confident taking ownership across multiple areas.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
