Job Description

The position of E-Commerce Marketing and Warehouse Manager will be pivotal in assisting with driving the growth of our online sales, improving the customer experience on the website and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, whilst ensuring first class warehouse and shop stock keeping, cleanliness and logistical organisation at all times.

This role is suited to a flexible and hard working individual with a personal interest in the marine sector who has an understanding of the type of products we sell and our customer profile. Experience with warehouse and shop management, e-commerce and marketing is essential, with hands-on Shopify website and Klaviyo email marketing experience being very beneficial.

The E-Commerce Marketing and Warehouse Manager is responsible for the following tasks, as a well as other duties as directed by the General Manager in pursuit of their role:

Key Responsibilities



Craft and implement a comprehensive e-commerce and marketing strategy that aligns with our overall business goals, driving online traffic, customer engagement, and sales performance. Oversee the day-to-day management of our Shopify website, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and effective user experience, looking to significantly grow website traffic (currently circa 500), sales (currently circa 2k per day) and conversion rates (currently circa 1.5%). You will manage a fast-growing e-commerce site with thousands of products (currently circa 15,000 SKUs), supporting both B2B and B2C customers. Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing (database of circa 12,000 customers), and social media (4 separate platforms), to maximise online visibility and customer acquisition. Monitor and analyse online sales and customer behaviour data, using insights to optimise the e-commerce strategy and achieve sales targets. Manage online product listings, ensuring accurate and attractive presentation of our marine products. Work closely with different departments, to ensure coordinated efforts and efficient operations. Have superb communication and interpersonal skills. Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends and advancements, applying best practices to keep our platform competitive and innovative. Be a 'superuser' for Shopify, all social media platforms, photo and video shooting and editing and graphic design creation. Ability to oversee and manage a marketing intern, filming and being filmed for social media videos. Manage and allocate the e-commerce and marketing budgets effectively to achieve strongest return on investment. Generate detailed monthly reports on website performance and campaign success, providing actionable recommendations. Ability to serve customers in the shop when required, understanding the till system and providing guidance and assistance. High ability of flexibility and innovation which are needed to enhance adaptability and creative problem-solving. Work to a set of KPIs and targets specifically tailored and related to your role.

Qualifications and Experience



Proven experience of 3+ years in e-commerce and marketing management, preferably in a retail or marine-related industry. Proven job longevity in past roles. Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing. Very strong social media understanding and a heavy user personally. Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads etc) are desirable. Experience in managing e-commerce platforms and understanding of web analytics. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A passion for the marine industry and a drive to innovate in the digital retail space.
