We're on the lookout for an E-Commerce Marketplace Manager with strong commercial instincts and a hands-on approach. You'll play a key role in driving performance on Amazon while supporting cross-functional work across Shopify, eBay, and other marketplaces. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team that's scaling across 14 international Amazon territories -- and counting.

You'll also contribute to our in-house microbrand, Cestrian Watches. Backed by strong investment and growing global recognition, it offers hands-on experience in product launches, campaigns, and brand development alongside our multi-brand retail business.

The Opportunity

We're at a genuinely exciting point: a new Shopify site, expansion into additional marketplaces, and major launches ahead for Cestrian Watches. As E-Commerce Trading Manager, you'll sit at the centre of that growth -- taking ownership of our marketplace trading strategy, setting priorities, and ensuring pricing, promotions, and listings drive profitability and performance across multiple territories.

You'll oversee day-to-day Amazon operations and collaborate cross-functionally to align trading with marketing and operations. Expect autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how we grow internationally.

We offer hybrid working -- typically 3 days in our Chester HQ/store and 2 days remote -- after probation, subject to role needs and commute. WatchNation is also a Home Office-licensed sponsor and can consider Skilled Worker sponsorship where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead the Amazon and marketplace trading strategy to deliver growth and profitability.

Manage day-to-day trading priorities, setting direction for listings, pricing, and promotions.

Drive and optimise performance across 14 international Amazon marketplaces.

Work closely with the Amazon Account Manager to enhance listings, pricing, and campaigns.

Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and propose commercial actions to increase profitability.

Assist in planning and executing promotional events and marketing initiatives.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure consistent brand alignment.

Support e-commerce trading across Shopify, eBay, and new marketplaces as we expand.

Contribute to the success of Cestrian Watches through product launches and campaign planning.

Analyse sales and advertising performance data, producing actionable insights.

Maintain awareness of competitor activity and marketplace developments to stay ahead.

Lead the weekly trading review process and report on KPIs to senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace management roles.

Proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central or similar marketplace platforms.

Strong commercial awareness with a focus on driving sales and profitability.

Analytical mindset with confidence using data and reporting tools.

Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.

Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Proactive attitude and desire to grow in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Desirable:

Experience with other marketplaces (eBay, Shopify, etc.).

Understanding of international trading, pricing, and logistics.

Interest in watches, fashion, or premium retail.

Familiarity with advertising, PPC, or digital marketing tools.

Job Type & Pay

Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 30,000 - 35,000 per year (with clear potential for increased earnings and progression as the business expands).
