We're looking for a talented Economic Crime Officer to join our Economic Crime Team at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
What you'll do
At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Economic Crime Officer you too will play an integral part in what we do.
As our Economic Crime Officer and part of the second line of defence you will work on a wide range of topics including:
Overseeing first line of defence activities
Provide subject matter expertise when advising the business (first line of defence) on day-to-day activities for e.g. reviewing Client Onboarding, Beneficiary Verification, PEPs and Sanctions high risk payment referrals
Ensure suspicious activity reporting is actioned/escalated in a timely manner
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across all business areas
Recommend enhancements to working practices and procedures to enhance CAF's economic crime prevention activity
Who you'll be
This role is for you if you have experience of working in Economic Crime /Financial Crime or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:
Experience of working in the second line of defence, in an advisory type role
Ability to multi-task with complex financial crime queries
Attention to detail
Ability to work within stretching timescales
ICA AML qualification or equivalent
