Job Description


Logistics Manager seeks an experienced and versatile editor to lead the editorial team and steer the content strategies for our print and digital platforms.

The editor will also play an instrumental role in the success of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards and work closely with various team members on conferences, webinars, and podcasts.

Key responsibilities

  • Editorial leadership: Oversee the editorial calendar, content development, editing, and publishing across print and digital channels.
  • Team leadership: manage and mentor an in-house editorial team and freelance contributors, instilling a culture of quality, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Content strategy: create and implement a multi-platform editorial strategy to enhance reader engagement and meet business objectives.
  • Stakeholder engagement: network and collaborate with key industry players, organisations, and associations to keep abreast of the UK logistics, supply chain, and transport sectors.
  • Events and awards: play a key role in the planning and execution of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards, as well as contribute to the content and organization of conferences, webinars, and podcasts.
  • Quality assurance: ensure all published content meets high-quality standards and aligns with the brand ethos.
  • Performance analysis: analyse and report on performance metrics, using data to adjust strategy and content planning as necessary.
Essential qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher in journalism, media studies, or related field.
  • At least five years of editorial experience in B2B publishing.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, CMS, and analytics software.
