Contract type: Full-time, permanent

Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings if required)



Salary: 22,350 per annum



About the role



We're looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Editorial Administrator to join our busy editorial team and help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a fast-paced and varied role that supports the delivery of content across our growing portfolio of digital and print publications.

In this role, you'll provide essential administrative, editorial and operational support to ensure content is delivered accurately on time and in line with publishing schedules. You'll work closely with both internal teams and external contributors, many of whom are high-profile professionals within the financial services industry, so you'll need to be confident in communicating and maintaining a professional approach at all times.

You'll also take ownership of scheduling and posting content across our social media platforms, playing a key role in boosting engagement and driving traffic to our sites.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to be confident managing competing priorities, happy to take initiative, and ready to support the wider business wherever needed. A genuine interest in the financial services industry will help you engage with our content and audience.

Key responsibilities



Provide administrative and organisational support to the editorial team, including scheduling, tracking deadlines, and maintaining editorial calendars Coordinate incoming and outgoing copy, including logging and formatting submissions Assist with proofreading, fact-checking and preparing content for publication Liaise with contributors, writers, and internal teams to chase assets, confirm details, and ensure timely delivery Upload content to websites using WordPress and schedule across social media channels Monitor inboxes, respond to general editorial queries, and flag time-sensitive issues Support the team with basic image editing, file management and publishing processes Help collate analytics data and engagement metrics for regular reporting Support events, podcast production, newsletters, and other editorial-related activities as needed Carry out a wide variety of tasks as required by the business - flexibility is key

Essential skills and experience



A degree in journalism, media, communications or a related field such as humanities. Strong organisational and time-management skills - you thrive on keeping things running smoothly Excellent written English and an eye for detail A confident, self-motivated and proactive attitude - you're happy to get stuck in and take initiative A 'people person' with good communication skills and a collaborative, friendly approach Comfortable working with digital tools and content management systems (WordPress, SEO, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office) Ability to prioritise, work independently and juggle multiple deadlines A professional and positive approach, even under pressure Confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders and large corporate organisations, particularly within financial services A demonstrable interest in the financial services industry

Nice to have



Experience working in a publishing or media environment Understanding of digital publishing, social media management and content workflows Experience editing or writing content, and a strong interest in editorial production
An interest in finance, economics, investment markets.
