About the Role



As the Editorial & Programme Assistant, this role is important in supporting the Teaching and Learning team to build sustainable educational excellence that benefits lives and strengthens communities. This role operates across key functions of our business: Curriculum, Research, Support, and Technology which are aligned to Learna's mission of "improving global healthcare through medical education".

This role is important to the inception, development, delivery, review, and improvement of Learna's educational programmes. It is also important in supporting the department's project management through various administrative duties, including document management, scheduling, and facilitating stand-up meetings.

Key Responsibilities



Curriculum Programme Support

Using AI and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to create learning content for our new and existing courses to be passed onto our medical team who will then refine. Accurate preparation and formatting of learning materials, following University and Company guidelines. Providing assistance to the Programme Content Coordinator when required to make sure that all published work is thoroughly proofread for the correct use of English in terms of spelling, punctuation and grammar. Conducting desk research on existing competitors' courses and producing reports that can feed into business cases for the production of new courses through Learna.
Tutor & Student Support

Arrange meetings, take minutes, and track actions for the Student Experience Group. Work with the Tutor Training and Development Manager to be a point of contact for current tutors in answering any queries they may have. and maintain performance documentation.
Generic Programme Support

Ensure meetings are effectively scheduled in relevant diaries to enable the correct running of a project. Work with the Head of Teaching and Learning Operations to maintain project documentation, including Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions, (RAID) logs, project timetables, project reports and Jira tickets. Provide support in the improvement of processes which enable colleagues to reduce errors and improve efficiency. Support communications with external partners when working on various work streams, including requesting reviews, setting expectations and providing project updates. Research Support Support academic research activities to enhance academic credibility and visibility.
Technology Support

Provide administrative support for Moodle course builds at key points of the year.

Key Skills, Behaviours, Competencies and Experience Required



Essential:

Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail. Proficiency with Google Workspace and willingness to learn new technologies. Knowledge of AI tools to support workflows and generating relevant information. Experience working within a project management framework (Agile or PRINCE2).
Desirable:

Good analytical skills and an ability to extract important information from large bodies of text. Experience within the education or e-learning sector. Knowledge of higher education processes and online learning environments. Experience creating Management Information (MI) dashboards for project performance monitoring. Project management qualification at foundation level or above.
Education and Professional Qualifications Required

Higher or advanced level of education. Project management certification (Desirable).
