The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom's national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Education Assistant to join the existing collections and learning team. Reporting to the Education Officer, the successful applicant will deliver unique, world-class formal learning projects, programmes and resources for Early Years, KS1-5, 16+ and adult education audiences of all ages at Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds.
The successful candidate must be a versatile communicator with a passion for museum education and bringing history to life for formal learning audiences in a heritage context.
Hours
36 hours per week / Monday to Friday.
The role is office based.
Some weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required.
