Working within the MHST in Bradford and Craven District is an amazing experience for any qualified EMHP. The team is a passional and caring team with capacity to support individual growth and development leading the way in Mental health in schools and colleges.

  • To provide low intensity CBT to mind to moderate mental health conditions within school/colleges and community settings.
  • To audit/plan and review whole school/college approach interventions.
  • Engage in case management and clinical skills supervision.
  • Offer assessments to children, young people and families.
  • To provide consultation to education staff and supportive signposting.
  • Work alongside other professionals within mental health services.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work within a CYP mental health service delivering, under supervision, high-quality, brief, outcome focused, evidence-based interventions and guided self-help for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
To act as an interface between staff working in all emotional mental health services providing liaison, assessment, training, and consultation regarding the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children and young people.
To work as a member of the MHST to support education settings to create a positiveethos through Whole School Approaches (WSA) to mental wellbeing.
This post will work under the direction of the L e a d a n d Senior M H S TPractitioners within B r a d f o r d District Care Trust's MHST service, acrossprimary, secondary, and further education settings (college) within the Craven Localityof the Bradford, Keighley and Craven MHST
The actual distribution of workload within these areas will depend on the demands of the service by agreement with the Clinical lead
