About You


We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with a passion for education and learner development. You will bring:


Experience coordinating education or training programmes, ideally with young people in the third sector or similar settings Knowledge of the sports and fitness sector, with strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and external partners Confidence in managing learner data and using systems such as Microsoft Office and APTEM Flexibility to travel across sites, with occasional overnight stays as needed Relevant qualifications (such as TAQA/D33/V1 or a teaching qualification) are desirable but not essential

About the Role


As Education Sports & Fitness Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and growth of our 16-18 Sports & Fitness education provision. This is a remote tole with visits across our sites in Greater Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds.


Working closely with the Sports & Fitness Manager, you will help ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students. Your responsibilities will include:


Coordinating day-to-day operations, including lesson scheduling, session planning, and organising enrichment and CPD activities Monitoring learner attendance, engagement and progress, providing pastoral support to help them overcome barriers to learning and succeed Supporting tutors with lesson planning, assessment materials, and quality assurance processes, including internal verification and feedback collection Managing learner records and ensuring accurate data entry across relevant systems such as APTEM Contributing to business development initiatives to increase learner recruitment and support progression into the fitness industry Liaising with external partners to facilitate learner work placements, CPD delivery, and stakeholder engagement Being flexible and available to travel across delivery locations, with occasional overnight stays where required

All staff have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
