Education Support Assistant

About the Role:
As an Education Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff to support students with a range of additional needs. This role plays a key part in helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment within specialist education settings.
Your Key Duties Will Include:

• Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND.
• Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning plans and interventions.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing.
• Offering personal care and mobility assistance when needed.
• Contributing to classroom activities and modifying materials to suit individual needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach.

Who We're Looking For:

• Individuals with a passion for working with children who have special needs.
• Patient, understanding, and flexible in their approach.
• Good communication and team-working abilities.
• Keen to learn and grow professionally in the field of education.
• Experience or qualifications in SEN support are welcome but not required.
