Education Support Worker - Sunderland
Daily Rate: 90 to 110
Start Date: September 2025
Teaching Personnel is recruiting Education Support Workers for a comprehensive secondary school in Sunderland known for academic success and its commitment to honesty, respect, compassion, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students' learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development
  • Assist with tailored strategies, learning plans, and behaviour support
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Work with teachers and the SENCO to provide individual and small-group support
  • Monitor progress and share feedback with staff and families
What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Psychology, Childcare, Early Years, or a related subject
  • Passion for working with young people and supporting their growth
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with children through placements, volunteering, or similar settings (desirable)
  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to safeguarding (DBS required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
