Description:



We are looking for a detail-oriented and culturally sensitive contractor to join our international school as an Educational Administrative Assistant on a self-employed basis. This role sits between the Recruitment and Academic teams and focuses primarily on teacher recruitment and administrative support. The Educational Administrative Assistant will play a key role in

helping to launch our in-house recruitment programme and will provide administrative and operational support to the necessary teams to ensure the smooth coordination of

academic processes.




Key Responsibilities







Recruitment Assistance


Support the launch and administration of Pamoja's new in-house teacher recruitment programme, working closely with the Recruitment Lead during its initial setup phase. Manage the recruitment inbox and coordinate communications with prospective teachers in a timely and professional manner. Assist with teacher recruitment logistics, including interview scheduling, interviewing, document preparation, and follow-up communications. Assist with HR-related administrative tasks, including reviewing, collecting, and organising teacher documentation and supporting the issuing of contracts. Maintain accurate and well-organised records of recruitment activity, teacher documentation, and onboarding progress. Act as a coordination point between Recruitment and Academic teams to ensure alignment on hiring timelines and teaching needs.

Academic Assistance


Provide administrative and operational support to the Academic team, particularly during assessment and reporting periods. Assist with the review of teacher assessments and student reports, including proofreading for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and tone, and flagging issues where needed. Use and create spreadsheets to
track assessment progress, reporting deadlines, teacher submissions, and academic data, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Assist with managing teacher and student data across internal systems, ensuring databases remain
accurate and well maintained.
Provide general administrative support to academic operations, including document preparation, data entry, and coordination of academic workflows.



Qualifications:




Experience in education administration (knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) is a strong advantage) Excellent organisational and communication skills Strong proofreading and editing experience Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up with efficiency and accuracy Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively with a global team
