Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Moorlands Primary School.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated colleague in the role of Educational Support Assistant who will work as part of a team including teachers and other support staff and/or one to one with a child to support the learning and welfare of the children at Moorlands initially based in Key Stage 1. We are looking for an individual who will make a significant contribution to the high standards of learning by supporting teachers and children in school.
This is a fixed term position commencing as soon as possible until 31 December 2026.
The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and for securing children's physical and emotional wellbeing. Energy, patience, enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning are also vital to this role.
