Whether you hold a relevant EFL qualification, a PGCE, or an equivalent qualification in English, Primary Education, or Modern Foreign Languages, we would like to hear from you.

Our residential contracts include full-board, single occupancy accommodation.

What does it involve?

Here at Stafford House Study Holidays, we welcome over 6000 young students (aged 8-17) from all over the world, from late-June to mid-August. During their 7-14 day stay, we provide a vibrant activities and excursions programme, alongside stimulating English language lessons in the classroom. It's a great opportunity to work with a range of ages, levels of ability and students from a multi-cultural environment.

Uxbridge (West, London) + potential paid travel to other centres (Cambridge/London/Northampton/Bournemouth/Oakham)

You'll need to be available from 5th July 2025

Up to 4 week contract

Residential (42 hours per week - made up of 15 or 30 hours teaching + teacher admin time, welfare of student time and/or leading excursions/activities)

Some of what you need to become part of the Stafford House Teaching Team:

You must have the right to work in the UK Teachers must be EFL/TESOL qualified (e.g. CELTA, CertTESOL or another TEFL certificate which meets *Accreditation UK criteria), PGCEs in English, Modern Foreign Languages or Primary will also be considered.
You

MUST

already subscribe to the DBS update service and hold the original certificate - this is essential due to the immediate nature of the contract*
You must be willing to dedicate time to with our Talent Team, in supporting you though your pre-employment checks in time DELTA/ DipTESOL or equivalent MA qualification desirable Experience of working with young learners preferable Be collaborative, have a passion for teaching and EFL Have a working knowledge of safeguarding practices
TEFL/MA TESOL qualifications must include a minimum of 6-hours observed teaching practice. This is where you were observed teaching students in a live environment.
