Superstars is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual, who feels competent in leading and teaching children the fundaments of woodwork during Superstars summer camps.
Job Type
Wage: 550 per week.
DBS Enhanced, updated of 3 years is required.
If you do not have a valid DBS certificate, one can be arranged for you but please note a fee of 50 will be deducted from your wages, after 10 days of working for Superstars, we will refund you the payment.
A driver's license is advantageous but not a requirement.
Must be able to flexibly travel to a variety of different venues within an overarching area.
Job Role:
Lead woodwork sessions to help children design, plan and construct a variety of projects.
Assist children in safely using different tools and materials such as, hand saws, hand drills, hammers, screw drivers, and hot glue guns.
Teach children the importance of health and safety.
Oversee classes, ensuring safety precautions are being met to a high standard i.e., all children must be wearing safety goggles and gloves.
Emphasising the importance of active listening skills during woodwork activities.
All materials and equipment will be provided for you and the children.
Additionally, you will be shown how to conduct the sessions, which you will subsequently teach the children.
Conduct regular safety briefings and supervise tool usage closely.
Job Requirements:
? Comfortable and competent working with children.
? Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not a requirement.
? Enthusiastic, patient, and willing to engage in hands-on activities.
? Ability to explain woodwork techniques clearly and effectively, ensuring child safety.

Please note:
Over the course of these working weeks, you are required to work a full week at a designated venue in locations including Knutsford and Warrington. Each week, you'll be assigned to a different venue. Full-week attendance is essential for training purposes. If you're unable to commit to a full week or unable to travel to a venue, please notify Superstars as soon as possible.
Shifts will be 08:00am-16:30pm, occasionally you may be required to stay till 18:00pm for late pick up. You will receive an additional 17 for late pick up shifts.
Venues:
Please be aware that you will be required to travel to all the venues listed below. Full-week attendance at each venue is essential for training purposes. If you are unable to travel to any of the venues, please inform Superstars as soon as possible.
