Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using hand tools for various electronic repairs and maintenance tasks. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electronic equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance on various devices to ensure longevity and efficiency. Perform computer hardware repairs, including upgrades and replacements. Assist in the installation and configuration of computer networking systems. Utilise hand tools effectively for equipment repair and assembly tasks. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop solutions. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts.

Experience

Proven experience in electronics repair or a related field is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Familiarity with computer hardware components and repair techniques. Experience in computer networking is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficient in using hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks. A background in equipment repair will be highly regarded.
