About us

Concorde Glass trading as made2measure is a glass, metal, wood and plastic processing company offering a range of services with over 30 staff. There will be no travel required for the business role and all activities are on our site in Mablethorpe.

Hours are flexible and can be agreed Monday to Thursday 7 hours per day.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our team in maintaining the electrical and mechanical control systems for all our plant machinery which includes cutting tables, polishers, glass tougheners, bevellers, wood and glass CNC machines, lasers and other machinery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our machinery and implementing reactive and proactive maintenance and repair systems.

Experience within the glass processing industry will be extremely helpful in an application

Responsibilities:

- Maintaining, fixing and implementing a proactive maintenance program for all plant machinery

- Conducting system design and integration of new machinery purchases in the future

- Performing signal processing and debugging to ensure system functionality

- Collaborating with machinery suppliers to address and problem solve electrical issues and mechanical issues

- Conducting root cause analysis for system failures

- Soldering components and ensuring proper connections

Skills:

- Strong understanding of electrical principles and system design

- Ability to conduct signal processing and debugging activities effectively

- Skilled in root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting electrical systems

- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and system design and ability to repair and solve situations on site

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 28 per week
