Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice/Trainee Electrician to join our team. Some form of previous experience would be beneficial along with any electrical qualifications. Work locations to be in Essex, London and surrounding area. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in the electrical trade. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting with various electrical installation and maintenance tasks. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about pursuing a career in electrical engineering and eager to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Support electricians in running cables, wiring, and fitting electrical components. Help with troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying faults. Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain organised work areas, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly. Complete assigned tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work. Some prior electrical experience or relevant coursework is desirable but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is required. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work safely following health and safety guidelines. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be physically fit, able to work in various environments. A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
