Responsibilities

As an Electrical Apprentice, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the Kier Transportation team, supporting them in keeping over 27,000km of roads flowing across the UK.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working across several highways depots in the region
  • Providing essential repairs, maintenance and upkeep of streetlights, traffic signals, safety cameras and highways communications
  • Ensuring people can travel safely on the roads or pathways
You will also study for a Level 2 Highways Electrical Maintenance and Installation Operative qualification with support from our experienced teams \xe2\x80\x93 giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.
