Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team in the ECO4 energy efficiency sector. This role offers hands-on experience supporting the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and Solar PV systems. Working closely with our Lead Electrician, you will assist with electrical supply runs, system connections, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Lead Electrician with supply runs and cable routing for ASHP units and solar PV installations. Help with setting up and wiring consumer units, isolators, and other electrical components. Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site. Support testing and commissioning processes under supervision. Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Accurately label and log electrical works as per regulatory and internal quality standards. Attend required training and development sessions to advance your technical knowledge and qualifications.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in or willing to undertake a Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship (or equivalent). Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools. Interest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable installations. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior staff. Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
