We are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic

Electrical Apprentice

to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the industry while working towards becoming a fully qualified electrician.

Role Overview

As an

Electrical Apprentice

, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and supervisors on a wide range of electrical projects within commercial and retail environments. You'll learn how to install, test, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, gaining the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities

Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Support planned and reactive maintenance tasks within commercial and retail premises. Help carry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault finding under supervision. Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in good condition. Attend college or training provider sessions as part of the apprenticeship programme. Follow all company health and safety procedures and industry regulations.

Skills & Attributes

A keen interest in electrical work and the facilities maintenance industry. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above preferred). Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) preferred. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
