Giraffe CCTV is a rapidly growing technology, software, and industrial design company focused on the mobile security industry. We supply innovative products to security businesses and manufacturers across the UK, Europe, and the US. Our core offerings include the Edge Controller / Hub Controller (powered by proprietary software), the Mobile Security Unit (a modular CCTV system), the Solar CCTV Tower, and the soon-to-be-launched Meercam - a pod-style mobile intruder detection system.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electronics Assembly Technician to join our expanding production team. This is a key hands-on role in the assembly of our cutting-edge security technology products. While some repeat assembly is part of the job, you will also contribute to the high-quality, small-batch production of sub-assemblies and will have opportunities to grow alongside the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic products and sub-assemblies to high standards, following detailed build instructions and wiring diagrams.
Ensure builds are completed efficiently and within expected time frames.
Work within a quality-focused environment, complying with general manufacturing and safety standards.
Maintain a zero-defect approach, with meticulous attention to detail.
Identify and communicate opportunities for product or process improvements.
Core Requirements:
Proven experience in electronic component assembly and manufacturing.
Ability to interpret and build from schematics or technical drawings.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with Accredited Quality Systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
Knowledge or experience in Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement techniques.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues is a plus.

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday 8:30am-2:00pm
